THE PENNY FARTHINGS

Sarah, Nadine and Gavin make up The Penny Farthings - a BC based trio that plays folk and jazz inspired covers and originals. Originally from Alberta, the group found themselves together on the west coast in BC in 2014, and began making music as a trio shortly after. With an emphasis on complex vocal harmonies, finger-style guitar, and tight percussion and piano instrumentation, their sound suits both intimate venues and house concerts, as well as wedding receptions and dinner music. Sometimes toe-tapping, sometimes contemplative, and always entertaining....The Penny Farthings strive to take their listeners along on a memorable journey of old and new songs alike. While The Penny Farthings are now split across BC and Alberta, they still play together when the opportunity strikes and they find themselves in the same place!
